Fundamentals of Music Production 2

Fundamentals of Music Production II is an advanced music production course designed for creators ready to work at a professional level. This course expands on core production concepts and focuses on the skills, workflows, and creative decision-making used in today’s recording, production, and mixing environments.

Students will develop advanced techniques in music production, audio recording, editing, and mixing while learning how to operate efficiently in a professional studio setting. Emphasis is placed on session organization, audio signal flow, critical listening, and building mixes that translate across professional playback systems.

Through hands-on, project-based learning in Itec Audio’s professional studio environment, students will write, record, and produce original music while exploring advanced approaches to songwriting, sound design, and digital audio instruments. The course mirrors real-world studio workflows, giving students practical experience in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.
