Itec Audio Studios has built a reputation as one of the premier Music, and Audio Production schools in the NY and NJ area. Offering challenging courses with a realistic approach to learning and encouraging students to explore their own creativity and artistic passion. Our Mission is to empower and prepare our students for hopeful futures in the Music Industry. We accomplish this by utilizing industry standard tools, small class sizes and a NJ State Approved CTE (Career and Technical Education) Curriculum.
CEO/FOUNDER
My name is Wilkis Ideology Figuereo, and I am a New Jersey State Licensed and certified Audio Technology Expert, Supervisor, and Career and Technical Education teacher with over 25 years of experience in administration, teaching, and mentoring. I have worked extensively in both suburban and urban districts, providing educational experiences from K-12 in the public and private sectors, as well as post-secondary education.
As the CEO and Founder of Itec Audio Studios LLC, an official Avid Authorized Training location for Pro Tools, I am dedicated to offering industry-standard music software training. Additionally, I serve as an educational consultant for Recording Arts programs and partner with NYU’s Hip Hop Education Center. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts Music and a Master’s Degree in Education.
Certified as a Pro Tools Expert in Music and a Logic Certified Pro, I understand the importance of mastering professional gear and recording tools to succeed in today’s music industry. At Itec Audio Studios, we offer a vocational curriculum designed to prepare you for the industry while encouraging entrepreneurship.
