Baby Audio Grainferno is a next-generation granular synthesizer that transforms ordinary audio files into playable instruments, evolving textures, atmospheric soundscapes, and completely original sonic creations. Instead of starting with traditional oscillators, Grainferno uses your existing samples as raw material and breaks them into microscopic grains that can be rearranged, modulated, stretched, filtered, and transformed.
Load virtually any audio file and explore an entirely different approach to synthesis. Grainferno can process everything from vocals and instruments to field recordings, drum loops, stems, and found sounds. At extremely high grain rates, the grains move into the audio range and begin functioning like oscillators, allowing almost any sample to become a playable synth voice that follows the key of your song.
